NBA reporter Taylor Rooks talks about the objectification of women covering sports

|

Taylor Rooks broke new ground when she was chosen as media to cover the NBA Bubble.

Rooks recently stopped by The Breakfast Club morning show to give the inside scoop on her day-to-day since transitioning to the NBA campus in Orlando, FL.

If she’s not attending a game or practice, she is writing, doing zoom interviews with players and creating more fun content.

She’s also tweeting about how black female reporters aren’t treated fairly.

Twitter weighed in:

When you’re great at your job and very beautiful, it’s hard for people not to talk about looks first.

Unfortunately our society rewards those who are considered attractive. And Taylor definitely is a good looking woman, but she’s also a fantastic reporter.
