Look: Angry Derek Carr face becomes instant meme

Two of the NFL’s best teams squared off on Sunday Night Football in Week 11, and not only did one quarterback take the lead in the MVP race, but, most importantly, a legendary meme was born, involving his counterpart.

Patrick Mahomes torched the Raiders defense throughout the game, and he led his team on a masterful scoring drive late — capped off by a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce — to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, 35-31. And given how Russell Wilson has played over the past few weeks, it sure looks like Mahomes is in the driver’s seat in the MVP race, with a great shot at winning for the second time.

On the other side of the fence, Derek Carr played extremely well also. He completed 23 of 31 passes for 275 yards, and also delivered a meme face for the ages.

At one point in the second half of the game, with Mahomes leading the Chiefs on yet another scoring drive, Carr was not thrilled about Kansas City’s continued success on offense, so he delivered an angry meme face for the ages, while on the sideline.

That meme will follow Carr until the end of his career, and it’s glorious.
