The Dolphins and Bengals don’t play each other often, but it sure looked like there was some history during Sunday’s game, given how chippy play was.
There were a number of big hits and cheap shots — with plenty of trash talk as well. Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard and Bengals receiver Tyler Boyd were even ejected for a skirmish that took place in the first half of the game.
The bad blood spilled over into the second half, especially when the Dolphins began blowing the doors off their opponents. A fight even broke out at one point, and players had to be separated.
Dolphins head coach Brian Flores sure was heated.
No love lost between those two AFC squads.
