LeBron James goes to bat for ‘disrespected’ Devin Booker, Damian Lillard

LeBron James has the biggest platform of any NBA player, and he knows that when he speaks — the world listens.

He leverages that to attempt to spark social change in the world by airing his opinions, and he’s been especially vocal about politics — specifically former president Donald Trump.

But he also speaks on behalf of other players when he feels the situation warrants it, no matter what team they play for.

Apparently, that’s exactly what happened on Tuesday, when the All-Star reserves were announced. Suns guard Devin Booker didn’t make the cut, and James did not agree with what he viewed to be a snub. He even went as far as to call Booker the “most disrespected” player in the NBA.

But James didn’t stop there, either. He also went to bat for Damian Lillard.

James has a point, but Booker is a one-way player. He’s known for his scoring prowess, as he should be, but he often gets attacked on the other end of the floor, and pundits have taken note. As for Lillard, he was once overlooked, but not anymore. Most analysts, experts and fans view him to be a superstar.
