The Brooklyn Nets have named Steve Nash as their head coach. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Nash has signed a four-year deal in what will be his very first coaching stint.
Nash joins the Nets following five seasons as a player development consultant with the Golden State Warriors, where he contributed to two championship teams and made four consecutive trips to The Finals.
Not the only celebratory news for Steve Nash this week. Yesterday he and his wife Lilla celebrated their fourth anniversary.

Steve’s marriage to Lilla is his second. He was previously married for six years to Alejandra Amarilla.
