Tyler Johnson tries to trip Marc Gasol after hilariously failing on flop attempt (Video)

The Nets have a few different players currently on their roster that likely won’t even be playing in the NBA next season, as they’re filling in for guys who got hurt or couldn’t make it to Orlando to play in the bubble.

Tyler Johnson isn’t one of them, as the veteran guard has been in the league since 2014, and is playing for his third NBA team since that time. But he did have one particular moment of weakness during Friday’s game against the Raptors, and it was pretty funny to watch.

Johnson was well aware of the fact that he was in a complete mismatch on the play, with six-foot-eleven Marc Gasol backing him down. He attempted to draw a foul by flopping, but failed miserably. And since he landed on the ground, he then tried to trip Gasol with his feet, getting tangled up with the Raptors big man in the process. As a result, he was whistled for a foul, which he apparently didn’t agree with.

Not Johnson’s best look, that’s for sure.
