Football Team running back Antonio Gibson made headlines for what he did against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, but he doesn’t see it as a big deal.
Gibson carried the ball 20 times for 115 yards, and, most importantly, he found the end zone three times. One of them came in the fourth quarter, after the Cowboys got embarrassed on a fake punt attempt. The Football Team made their opponent pay for it, too, as Gibson rushed for a 23-yard touchdown soon after.
Not only that, he also taunted Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson, waving at the poor guy who he left in the dust.
And while Gibson’s actions lit up social media immediately after he was seen doing it, the Football Team running back did downplay it after the game, saying “that’s the universal peace sign.”
That’s true, but Gibson was still taunting his counterpart, and he should’ve just owned it.
