D’Andre Swift crushes Lions’ hopes of comeback win dropping potential game-winning TD (Video)

Lions rookie running back D’Andre Swift was involved in a play in the final seconds of Sunday’s loss to the Bears that may remain on his mind for quite some time.

Divisional games are extremely important in a team’s quest to win their division, and the Lions are certainly in the mix for the NFC North title this season. Taking a 23-6 lead into the fourth quarter against a Mitchell Trubisky-led Bears team saw the Lions take a step in that direction, but a complete collapse resulted in it slipping away.

To his credit, Matthew Stafford led his team down the field on the final drive of the game, and put them in position to win. He floated a perfect pass to a wide-open Swift with less than 10 seconds remaining, but the rookie running back dropped it.

That brutal divisional loss may come back to haunt the Lions this season, as well as Swift.
