It didn’t take long for us to witness the first dirty play of the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
The Raptors and Nets squared off on Monday, in the second game of the postseason, and fans took note of one particular play that took place in the first quarter.
It’s unclear if there’s any history between Garrett Temple and Norman Powell, because it didn’t take long for the Nets swingman to put a cheap shot on the Raptors veteran.
Powell was guarding Temple on the play in question, when, out of nowhere, he received a quick heel kick right to the groin — sending the Raptors swingman to the ground.
No foul was called on the play, but it sure looked like Temple got away with a cheap groin shot.
