John Wall apologizes for flashing gang signs in video

Former NBA All-Star John Wall hasn’t been in the headlines for quite some time, and this is probably not a reason to be getting some attention.

The Wizards guard issued an apology on Sunday after a video surfaced of him throwing up gang signs at a New York City party the previous night.

See below:

“First and foremost I want to apologize to my family, my teammates and all of those that have always supported me,” Wall wrote in a Twitter post. “I made a mistake, something I regret. I will continue to work hard to be better on the court and more importantly off the court.”

This isn’t the first time Wall has been in hot water for his hand gestures.

He has been shown throwing up various signs in games before, including in 2011 and during the playoffs in 2015.

Wall is recovering from an Achilles injury he suffered in February 2019. He has not played in an NBA game since December 2018.

But good to see he’s still living his best life.
