Tom Brady and Bruce Arians apparently grew tired of taking shots at one another through the media, so they attempted to bury the hatchet with a golf trip during the bye week.
The problem, for them, was that the NFL was not having it.
The league’s COVID-19 protocols specifically state that no gatherings of players, personnel and staffers are allowed outside of team facilities. Still, the Bucs tried to arrange a golf outing involving Brady and Arians, as well as quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen and Bucs legend Ronde Barber, but the NFL intervened — blocking the Dec. 2 meetup at Old Memorial Golf Club from happening, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
It’s not the first time Brady has attempted to bend the rules this year, either. He was kicked out of a Tampa Bay park for working out in April. The park was closed, yet Brady was there anyway.
