No one was really sure exactly what Jamie Collins was doing early in Sunday’s Lions-Bears game, as the veteran sure looked like a rookie at the end of one particular play.
Collins was apparently upset with a non-call, as he appeared to feel he had been headbutted by a Bears player. No penalty was called, though, and Collins took issue with it.
He responded by attempting to show a referee exactly what happened. That wasn’t a good idea, though, as Collins made contact with the official, in a “headbutt” of sorts.
Any contact with officials isn’t permitted, so Collins was ejected from the game as a result.
