The Jets attempted to move superstar safety Jamal Adams during the time leading up to last season’s trade deadline, but nothing came of it.
It still, however, took a toll on him and his relationship with the team, as Adams made it clear he felt betrayed by being shopped, which he indicated in comments he made public.
There was talk of possibly mending the quickly-souring relationship during the offseason, but apparently not even the space created by social distancing and virtual meetings could accomplish that.
Adams has continued to make it clear that he wants to be moved, and apparently, he’d “love” to be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — a team clearly in win-now mode, with Super Bowl aspirations.
Add another team to Jamal Adams’ list of preferred trade destinations: the Buccaneers. He told @Realrclark25 he’d love to play in Tampa Bay, which would reunite him with Todd Bowles.

Maybe Adams wants to play with — not against — a quarterback he knows all too well, in Tom Brady.
