Lou Williams slams Kendrick Perkins in response to criticism

Clippers veteran guard Lou Williams has been receiving criticism from so many different people, but he apparently drew the line when it came via a former player.

Former NBA enforcer Kendrick Perkins has carved out a niche for himself delivering hot takes and blasting guys in his new job working for ESPN, and, obviously, that hasn’t gone over well in the basketball world. Perkins even went to town on former teammate, and friend, Kevin Durant, and it appears he’s not holding back for anyone.

So when Williams was caught hitting the famous Magic City strip club — “for the wings,” as he said — Perkins couldn’t help but weigh in. Williams did certainly cost his team, as the Clippers look to make a title push, while he’s stuck in a 10-day quarantine.

Perkins had this to say about it on ESPN’s “Get Up.”

Williams brought the heat in firing back at Perkins.

It really is unbelievable that Williams continues to defend himself. You do the crime, you do the time. The criticism is fair.
