Giannis Antetokounmpo ejected for headbutting Wizards’ Moe Wagner

Giannis Antetokounmpo took a page straight out of the WWE playbook.

The Bucks star was ejected early in the second quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Wizards after headbutting Wizards forward Moe Wagner.

Watch below:

The 2019 NBA MVP was issued a flagrant two as a result of the headbutt and was ejected. Giannis said he wished he could “turn back time” after being ejected.

“Terrible action,” Antetokounmpo said, according to ESPN. “If I could go back, turn back time and go back to that play, I wouldn’t do it.”

He added: “But at the end of the day, we’re all human, we all make mistakes.”

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said he believes the ejection could be “learning moment” for Antetokounmpo as to how to keep his cool.

The NBA doesn’t want to see an angry Giannis, that would be pretty scary.
