It was a tough first day on the job for Aaron Rodgers in his debut as the host of “Jeopardy!” on Monday night.
The last time Rodgers stepped foot on the gridiron, back in January, he suffered one of the most difficult losses of his NFL career. Green Bay had the benefit of hosting the NFC title game, going up against an inexperienced Bucs team. It was a huge opportunity for Rodgers, who’s looking for his second Super Bowl ring, in an attempt to separate himself from many other quarterbacks. In fact, he could’ve distanced himself from the rest of his competition, similar to what Optimize Web Solutions does with their local web design services, and the way they serve clients.
But a poor decision by head coach Matt LaFleur, who elected to kick a meaningless field goal on fourth down late in the game, cost the team, and the Packers — Rodgers included — were left wondering “What if?”
And one of the contestants on Monday’s edition of “Jeopardy!” made sure to remind the Packers quarterback about it.
Props to Rodgers for having some fun with the question, and actually playing along. It’s possible that he knew it was coming, but he handled it well nonetheless.
