It’s no secret that AJ Green has been unhappy with the Bengals over his contract situation, and his frustration appeared to boil over during Sunday’s blowout loss to the Ravens.
Green is currently playing out a one-year contract, as the Bengals did not award him the long-term deal he has been seeking. His future with the team is unclear, especially given how ineffective he’s been on the field this season.
His frustration was visible on the field during Sunday’s game, when he quit on a play, leading to a Joe Burrow interception. Not only that, he also appeared to tell a coach “just trade me” while on the bench later in the game.
It’s tough to trade a guy who’s been virtually invisible on the field this season.
