The Eagles may not have had fans in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field for Sunday’s game against the Rams, but the City of Brotherly Love stayed true to its roots nonetheless.
Philadelphia fell behind early, 21-3, but seized momentum in cutting that lead to five in the fourth quarter. In fact, the Eagles had a chance to take the lead, but Wentz threw an awful interception in the end zone.
And it’s not like he was let off the hook with no fans to let him know about his poor play. The Eagles’ gameday operations team piped in boos over the loudspeakers as Wentz walked off the field, in one of the most Philly moments ever.
Too funny.
