It sure looks like the Packers’ star receiver is aware of the possibility that he won’t be catching passes from Aaron Rodgers in the future.
Rodgers has spent the entirety of his career with the Packers up to this point, as the team selected him with the 24th overall pick in the 2005 draft. But all good things, and some marriages, eventually come to an end.
It looks like that’s what will happen with Rodgers and the Packers, as he clearly has butted heads with the new regime. General manger Brian Gutekunst and Rodgers have clashed since last year, when the team traded up to select Jordan Love in the draft.
The situation has devolved since that time, with rumors of Rodgers wanting more power in the organization’s decision making, but not getting it. And now it appears the relationship has been fractured beyond repair, with Rodgers likely to get traded. Adams sure seems to be aware of what’s going on, given what he had to say on Twitter.
It sure looks as if Rodgers was the subject of that cryptic tweet.
