The Rams defense completely locked down the Seahawks offense right out of the gate, and Seattle’s receivers were frustrated throughout Saturday’s Wild Card showdown as a result.
DK Metcalf was visibly upset, and it sure looked like the Rams defensive backs were in his head. They were seen chirping at him throughout the winner-take-all showdown, and it seemed to take a toll. Metcalf dropped a few passes, and outside of one deep touchdown pass, was virtually invisible.
His body language on and off the field said it all, as he was seen slamming his helmet in frustration during the first half of the game.
