During a visit to Philadelphia before his senior season at Baylor, Mims was not a big fan of Philly, telling Adam Caplan that ” he was afraid of the people.”
Mims now an NFL receiver with the New York Jets, appears to have carried along his hatred for everything Philadelphia into his pro career.
While chatting with the Philly Birds Only, Mims called Philadelphia a “dirty a**, trash a** city.”
