Joe Burrow buys No. 9 necklace valued at more than $25K

Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow is doing what most young NFL players do when they get paid.

He’s going big, and treating himself to some bling. The #1 overall pick in this past April’s draft splurged on some new jewelry from Houston jeweler Leo Frost.

In a video posted to Frost’s Instagram, a masked Joe Burrow is seen meeting with Frost to receive the chain.

“That’s fresh,” Burrow says in the video as he pick up the chain.

According to Frost, the chain is an 18-carat white gold diamond Cuban link with an 18-carat white gold No. 9 pendant, which is Burrow’s jersey number. The Houston jeweler declined to say the exact cost but estimated that the piece is worth $25,000 to $30,000.

Burrow signed a four-year deal worth $36 million, he received a $23.9 million signing bonus.

The Bengals QB is already off to a hot start before he’s even played one NFL game.

Plenty of money for a chain worth as much as a car, but hopefully he limits his big purchases moving forward.
