Jets quarterback Joe Flacco tried to take on both Father Time and the Miami Dolphins during one play in Sunday’s game, and it didn’t go well for him.
The Jets’ offensive line is abysmal, and Flacco was under duress for a good chunk of the Week 6 game. At one point in the second half, though, Flacco tried to make something out of nothing by keeping the play alive.
The problem for him, though, is that he’s 35 years of age, and probably isn’t going to evade would-be pass-rushers at this point in his career. He tried, though, on one particular play, but just kept going backward, and the result was a 28-yard loss.
That play was the Jets’ 2020 season in a nutshell.
