It’s frustrating to be a wide receiver stuck on a team with a mediocre or worse quarterback, which was evident in Justin Jefferson’s brief outburst during Sunday’s game against the Bears.
Jefferson managed to get wide-open in the end zone on a pivotal play during the game, which is difficult to do against the Vikings defense. Unfortunately for him, Cousins was slow going through his progressions, and did not see his teammate.
By the time Cousins did throw the ball, it was late, and inaccurate. The ball sailed high, and Jefferson couldn’t haul it in. He responded by yelling the following at his quarterback:
“F—, Kirk!” Jefferson yelled.
Cousins owes Jefferson a steak dinner for that miss.
