The Orlando Magic’s biggest budding superstar sent a message before Friday’s Magic-Nets game, and it was a bold decision on his part.
Friday marked the first full day of games since the NBA underwent its season restart, with the Magic and Nets squaring off on the court in the afternoon. As such, all eyes were on the game, and Jonathan Isaac took advantage of it.
All players involved in Thursday’s games kneeled during the national anthem, as did nearly everyone on the Magic and Nets — not Isaac, however.
Instead, Isaac boldly chose to express his personal beliefs, and he stood while the anthem was played.
We commend Isaac on the courage he showed in sharing his opinion to the world on Friday, on the biggest stage possible.
