Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the top footballers in the world, and his team’s manager appears to eel quite lucky that he’s wreaking havoc on opposing teams upfront.
Ronaldo may no longer be in the prime years of his career, but he’s still one of the best finishers in the world, and he can outscore his opposition — singlehandedly even, at times.
That’s exactly what he did in Saturday’s match against Atalanta. Juventus really didn’t look sharp in the match, giving up two goals in it, but lucky for them, they have Ronaldo. It appeared as if Juve was set to lose the match, but CR7 banged home a penalty in the 90th minute — his second of the match — to salvage a point.
And Sarri was happy that he did.
“He is a champion with his feet but also with his head,” Sarri said, via Yahoo Sports.
Sarri continued:
“He manages to handle the pressures he has on him in an incredible way.”
That’s a take many around the soccer world would agree with.
