Odell Beckham Jr. has decimated the Cowboys in the past, and even though he’s no longer playing for the Giants, he still dominated in Sunday’s game at AT&T Stadium.
Beckham got off to a disappointing start to the season, but he showed up in a big way on Sunday, torching the Cowboys for 154 all-purpose yards. And, most importantly, he scored three touchdowns, which is more than the Cowboys as a team could muster through three quarters of play.
Dallas got hot in the fourth quarter, though, and the team stormed back, cutting Cleveland’s lead to only three with under four minutes remaining. The Browns responded by putting the ball in the hands of OBJ, though, and he did the rest, hitting the afterburners en route to a 50-yard touchdown on an end-around.
It proved to be a game-sealing touchdown, and Beckham let Cowboys fans know about it afterward. He kicked the ball at the Cowboys helmet graphic in the back of the end zone, putting his stamp on the win.
He also waved goodbye to Cowboys fans afterward while on the sideline.
OBJ sure is a character.
