The Seahawks no longer have the Legion of Boom in their defensive backfield, but they’re looking to build the next best thing.
Seattle may no longer have Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor at safety, but Quandre Diggs comprise a dynamic duo that is nearly as talented. it will be interested to see how they play together, though, as chemistry can’t be predicted until they suit up and play.
So we’ll see how Adams fits in the Seahawks’ defense, but as a hybrid player, we’re willing to bet Pete Carroll will get very creative in how he uses the young superstar.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson sure appears to be excited about having Adams on the team, in comments he made to reporters this week.
“Jamal’s a fiery guy. I love him,” Wilson said, via Pro Football Talk. “He’s passionate about the game, he’s one of the best players in the game, for sure, one of the best defensive players. He can do it all. He’s got the energy, he’s got the passion, he’s got the energy, he’s got the knowledge. He brings something, for sure, to our team, not just for the defense, for our whole football team. He’s a great leader. He’s going to be a great football player for a long time. I’m glad he’s on our team.”
The rest of Wilson’s teammates likely echo his sentiments.
