Twins Pause Game For George Floyd

Twins honored George Floyd in the middle of their game

There’s no wrong time to honor George Floyd.

The Minnesota Twins defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3, in their first home game of the shortened season on Tuesday night.

When the clock hit 8:46pm local time in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Twins halted the action and paused for a moment of silence in honor of George Floyd.

The time on the clock denotes how long former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin held his knee on George Floyd’s neck.

Let’s see how people find a way to get mad at this.
