The golf world has been consumed by Bryson DeChambeau mania, as he’s taken the popular sport by storm, with his ability to drive balls to the moon.
DeChambeau came out of quarantine having put on a ton of muscle, gaining roughly 40 pounds, in an attempt to revamp his game.
And it worked.
He earned his sixth PGA Tour title at the Rocket Mortgage Classic a few weeks ago, dominating the entire field by driving the ball into oblivion, setting himself up for makable putts. DeChambeau even received praise from Tiger Woods as a result.
However, he showed the “other” side of him, the DeChambeau who complains when things aren’t going his way, recently. He struggled at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Classic on Thursday, and actually complained that fire ants were too close to his ball, making him demand to get a drop away from the area.
That’s one of the weakest excuses we’ve ever heard.
