It appears that Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is attempting to play both sides of the fence — or, at the very least, he’s walking back his most recent comments about kneeling.
Favre took a lot of criticism last month when he praised Colin Kaepernick for kneeling, even going as far as to compare him to the late Pat Tillman, which was a bit of a stretch, to say the least.
It now appears that he realizes he made a mistake in doing so, and he may be attempting to undo the PR damage he created for himself.
Favre recently played golf with President Donald Trump, and the two even snapped a few photos while doing so, showing the world they were together.
It sure looks like that was a PR move by Favre, and that he’s making a statement here.
