Giants young quarterback Daniel Jones may struggle with consistency, but he does show flashes of greatness at times.
He struggles with turnover issues, as his ball security in the pocket has been called into question a number of times.
But he does create some impressive plays, as he puts a nice amount of touch on deep passes, even though he doesn’t have the strongest arm.
He can also run, as the Washington Football Team — as well as a camerman — learned during Sunday’s game. Jones faked a handoff on one particular play, keeping it himself and bouncing it outside. The cameraman zoomed in on the running back, but he didn’t have the ball. Instead, Jones did, and he kept on running down the sideline for a 49-yard gain.
Nice wheels, DJ.
