Look: Cardboard cutouts of South Park characters pack stands at Empower Field for Broncos game

The Denver Broncos used a clever strategy to help fill the stands at Empower Field for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady, Bruce Arians and Co. were coming to town, so the Broncos knew they’d need to pull out all the stops in an attempt to get their first win of the season.

And to do that, they needed some help from the fans. Unfortunately, they were only able to host roughly 5,000 human fans, spread out throughout the stadium. To help fill the empty seats, however, they placed roughly 1,800 cardboard cutouts of South Park characters in the stands.

Clever idea by the Broncos.
