In the city of Los Angeles there’s no bigger legend than Kobe Bryant. But Kobe didn’t live in the City of Angels, he actually lived in Newport Beach.
Which is why Orange County is honoring the late great Lakers star.
Orange County has officially declared August 24th – the 24th day of the eighth month, and the day before his birthday, Kobe Bryant day.
This is possibly the most perfect way to honor the man who kept Los Angeles on the basketball map for over twenty years.
It’s still pretty hard to swallow the fact that Kobe’s gone.
