Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will forever be linked, which was evident given what happened in Canton over the weekend.
Manning and Brady squared off on the football field countless times over the years, often in the playoffs, and Super Bowl implications usually involved in some way. And so when Manning got inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Brady was there in attendance.
And even with Manning having retired, while Brady is still playing, Colts and Broncos fans haven’t forgotten about their archnemesis, apparently. They booed Brady in the middle of Manning’s speech, when he said the following:
“Speaking of rivals, my good friend Tom Brady is here tonight,” Manning said, which caused a chorus of boos.
Props to Brady for taking it in stride, though, although he’s probably used to the boo birds by now.
