A’s troll Astros with funny trash can cutout behind home plate

The MLB is finally back playing games, and the Astros are now back on the receiving end of some clever troll jobs as a result.

Spring training saw the Astros players get hit by a number of pitches, and also get mocked and taunted by their opposition, as a response to the 2017 sign-stealing scandal.

And while it was assumed that the regular season would see a shift back to the games being played on the field, rather than what happened in the past, but that doesn’t necessarily mean teams’ gameday operations staff can’t troll hard.

That’s exactly what the A’s did for Friday’s game against the Astros, when they put a cardboard cutout photo showing Houston’s mascot in a trash can.

Too funny.
