The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t want to wait until Week 1 to show off the newest addition to Arrowhead Field.
Kansas City is set to host Houston to open the 2020 NFL season on Sept. 10, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it wanted to wait to begin commemorating its Super Bowl LIV win.
It was one of the greatest comebacks in Super Bowl history, with the Chiefs fighting back from a double-digit, fourth-quarter deficit to emerge victorious. And now the team has essentially immortalized the memory with a flag that is now hanging at Arrowhead Stadium.
Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt raised the 2019 World Champions flag in front of a group of fans at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, as you can see below.
