The Washington Redskins announced today that they will be putting an end to their nickname and logo after completing a thorough review.
The announcement of a new name has been delayed because trademark issues are pending.
Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany responded to the name change for the Washington Redskins NFL football team.

The Navajo Nation released a statement earlier in the day:
Redskins owner Daniel Snyder for years had resisted consideration to change the name, but when it came down to it, it was all about money.
As it always is. Now we all patiently wait for the new Washington name.
Can’t wait to hear what Trump, or better yet, what McEnany has to say about the new nickname.
